About the Role
As a Strategy and Proposition Manager- Migration in our Australian Retail Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in helping the development of both product and portfolio strategy including proposition development. Migration is a key product for the bank and is a significant portfolio as we transition all our customers to ANZ Plus.
You will have deep portfolio expertise and an understanding of portfolio economics/financial levers and customer behaviours. You will act as the conduit (both inwards and outwards) between the Customer Readiness team in migration and the broader marketing function (specifically the Go To Markets (GTM) Campaigns Lead and Personalised Sales and Engagement team).

What will your day look like?
As a Strategy and Proposition Manager - Migration, you will:
- Aid in the development and execute the marketing strategy, including creating and managing the messaging matrix and hierarchy. Collaborate with stakeholders to define the campaign's scope and refine customer journeys based on initial insights. Partner with Business and Data Analysts to implement the Test & Learn framework and define success metrics
- Collaborate with Content Strategists/Copywriters, Producers, and Designers to develop assets for email and direct mail campaigns targeting various cohorts. Liaise with Mail house and coordinate the approval process with the Bank-Led Migration team
- Collaborate closely with producers and designers to enhance the creative execution of the campaign. Propose adjustments and developments based on critical insights
- Provide support for cross functional teams across product, distribution, operations and marketing services to create great customer outcomes
- Focus on customer-centricity & competitive differentiation in product development
- Support for product proposition development as ‘reasons to believe’ for CVPs
- Product and customer experience funnel analysis
- Support for product and customer experience playbook creation and development of materials for marketing services briefing
- Deliver commercial and customer results aligned to the migration KPIs
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experienced strategic marketer - extensive experience in both strategic marketing, data and technology led environments
- Applies expertise in novel and ambiguous contexts to solve large, adaptive challenges whilst effectively managing through ambiguity and change
- A problem solver – energized by tackling complex problems and uses critical thinking, network, skills, knowledge and available data to drive better outcomes – for the customer and commercially
- Business / Commercial acumen: Track record of being able to deliver both commercial results and better customer experiences. A trusted advisor
- Great conceptual thinker and deep understanding of Customer Experience (CX) principles, frameworks and methodologies
- Ability to quickly gather information on the progress of work and communicate this to key stakeholders
- Ability to identify, monitor and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses
- Driven by values and a strong sense of purpose to influence and work through others
