About the Role

The Strategic Partnership Manager – Retail Broker is responsible for supporting the National Partnership Manager in managing key strategic relationships with major Aggregators and their Brokers who are accredited with ANZ.

 

This role will lead the execution of national partnership sponsorship programs and ensure alignment with state-based activities. Success will be measured by the effective delivery of aggregator value streams and the achievement of national partnership objectives.

 

The position also involves driving cross-divisional collaboration within ANZ, particularly in relation to aggregator change initiatives, risk management practices and strategic projects that enhance ANZ’s position with Aggregators.

What will your day look like?

As the Strategic Partnerships Manager – Retail Broker, you are accountable for:

 

  • Leadership at Industry Forums & Aggregator Events: Takes a leading role as a primary representative for ANZ at key industry events, driving strategic initiatives to elevate the brand, foster high-value business partnerships, and explore new growth opportunities on behalf of the organization.
  • Strategic Problem Solving Between Aggregators & ANZ Internal Teams: Leads cross-functional problem-solving efforts, acting as a senior point of contact for complex issues. Responsible for enhancing stakeholder relationships, managing high-level challenges, and driving resolutions that align with broader business goals.
  • End-to-End Management of the Sponsorship Program: Assumes full accountability for the strategic direction, oversight, and operational management of ANZ’s sponsorship program. Leads cross-team collaboration to ensure the program’s alignment with overarching business strategies and long-term goals.
  • Ownership of Data Management and Reporting: Is responsible for the end-to-end management of both internal and external data reporting, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and actionable insights. Drives strategic decision-making at the executive level through data analysis and performance tracking.
  • Leadership in Partnership Management: Takes a senior leadership role in overseeing the operational effectiveness of the Partnerships business. Leads the development and execution of key partnership initiatives, ensuring they align with ANZ’s strategic vision and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Operational procedures & collaboration: Ownership of the Partnerships confluence pages and ensuring consistent cross business unit collaboration. Joint ownership of Aggregator Account Management Plans with consistent documentation on aggregator performance and strategic initiatives.

  • Significant experience leading business development and sales on a large scale and a demonstrated understanding of the commercial drivers of success.
