As a member of the Strategic Planning & Execution Team, you will contribute to supporting two business units across the bank - enterprise Compliance function and the enterprise Operational Risk function, in the execution of business enablement services. The role’s core responsibilities include support of operational strategic planning, monthly reporting on performance metrics, supporting quarterly leadership off-sites and strategy days as well as supporting communications and others events. The role may also be involved in operating model redesigns and service realignments, monitoring of monthly expenditure and employee movements, investment spend initiatives, supporting the collation of submission of monthly committee reporting and other ad-hoc activities.

The remit of our team is varied and we expect that you are adaptable, take initiative and will support other activities as required. In this diverse role, you will be working with people from various stakeholder groups, including with senior leadership teams across both business units.

Work Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week
What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting leadership teams in annual and quarterly strategic planning, documenting annual objectives and tracking against key initiatives
- Maintaining the compliance & operational risk service catalogue as well as functional and team structure documentation and support where there are service re-alignments that result in people changes
- Collating monthly reporting for performance metrics and Statement of Work service level agreements (SLAs)
- Drafting communications and supporting the logistics for events such as Townhalls
Other responsibilities may include:
- Support collation, formatting and submission of monthly Committee reporting (risk forums, Exco and Board)
- Support monthly business finance expenditure monitoring and reporting including project management system updates
- Management of resource recruitment approvals and movements across business unit
- Work with the finance and other enablement teams to provide information as requested by senior leadership teams
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Minimum 3 years banking experience and/or strategy consulting experience in the top 4 tier consulting houses and/or an internal corporate strategy function
- Ability to engage and influence at all levels within the business unit
- Strong ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Excellent use of Microsoft suite (primarily PowerPoint and Excel)
- Ability to manage deliverables against rapidly shifting priorities to respond to internal and external demands
- Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure and meet timelines
- Integrity and commitment to ethical practice, equity and diversity
