About the Role

As a Solution Analyst within the KYC as a Service portfolio, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery leadership of ANZ’s KYC technology platforms. This role ensures platform stability, regulatory compliance, and strategic capability uplift, while translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.

What will your day look like?

In this role, you will:

• Lead end-to-end solution design across KYC platforms, including cloud, SaaS, and integration solutions, defining architectures, data flows, and system interactions
• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional technical specifications, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance
• Provide technical leadership across multi-vendor and cross-functional teams, aligning delivery streams and resolving complex technical challenges
• Own delivery outcomes across design, build, release, and support phases, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned to business priorities
• Act as a subject matter expert in KYC data, ensuring integrity across ingestion, transformation, validation, and rule execution processes
• Design and optimise AWS-based cloud architectures to enhance platform performance, scalability, and resilience
• Lead incident management and production support, acting as an escalation point for critical issues and ensuring system stability
• Engage stakeholders across business, compliance, and technology, translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant insights
• Mentor engineers and uplift team capability, embedding best practices and fostering continuous improvement

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• Deep expertise in KYC solutions and strong knowledge of customer lifecycle and compliance frameworks  
• Proven experience translating business needs into scalable, end-to-end technical solutions across complex systems  
• Strong AWS/cloud architecture experience, with the ability to design secure, scalable, and high-performing environments  
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-vendor and cross-functional delivery teams in complex environments  
• Experience in incident management, production support, and driving system stability through root cause analysis  
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences  
• Strong problem-solving capability, systems thinking, and accountability for delivery outcomes  

Desirable:

• Understanding of retail and commercial banking technology landscapes
• Exposure to DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practices
• Knowledge of data modelling, analytics, and reporting
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and compliance requirements
• Experience mentoring and uplifting technical teams
