What will your day look like?
- Provide overall support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and related applications such as the Certificate Management Module and Discovery.
- Design and develop system integrations and process automations, fully leveraging the platform’s workflow and orchestration capabilities.
- Utilize server-side and client-side JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, and XML for development—preferably within ServiceNow components such as Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Transform Map Scripts.
- Understand application architecture and develop automation solutions supporting Certificate Life Cycle Management requirements.
- Perform Incident and Problem Management, applying fixes and resolving recurring issues to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to plan and implement automated certificate installation and certificate life cycle management strategies.
- Develop system designs for automation, including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- (Nice to have) Monitor and administer ServiceNow Discovery processes to support Certificate Discovery.
- Provide backup and support to other team members as needed—covering areas such as Service Catalog development, System API administration, security patching, and regression testing.
- Work with web services integrations using SOAP and REST protocols.
- Maintain functional knowledge of ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
What will you bring?
- A strong foundation in both UI and API development, with hands-on experience in JavaScript (ES6), SPA development, and Spring-based API solutions
- Practical knowledge of React, microservices architecture, Java 8, and containerization (Docker)
- Solid exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
- Experience in ServiceNow platform administration, scripting, workflow design, and building automation solutions—including Certificate Life Cycle Management
- Ability to create integrations using SOAP/REST and develop scalable, efficient web applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving incidents and implementing long-term fixes
- Comfortable collaborating with geographically distributed teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- A growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
