About the Role

 

As a Senior Risk Analyst in our ANZLMI Risk Management Function you will play a key leadership role in the review and challenge of non-financial risk management arrangements within the ANZLMI Legal Entity.

 

 

This role is responsible for the review and challenge of key process within the end-to-end management of the ANZLMI legal entity and across one or more I.AM framework risk themes such as Data Management, Prudential Risk, and Statutory Reporting.

What will your day look like?

 

 

As a Senior Risk  Analyst, you are accountable for:

 

•    Leading end-to-end reviews of key processes for the ANZLMI Legal Entity 
•    Assessing compliance with NFR framework requirements and relevant policies
•    Reviewing the design and operating effectiveness of controls within key processes
•    Forming an independent and holistic view of overall control effectiveness to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
•    Reviewing the appropriateness of treatments to address any relevant control effectiveness issues
•    Preparing reports of analysis and findings for updates to the LMI Risk Management Committee and the LMI Board

What will you bring?

 


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

•    Experience with ANZ NFR Transformation, Framework and Systems (e.g. NFR Hub, Qliksens, Signavio)
•    Good analytical skillset – i.e. ability to synthesize information and to provide insights 
•    Experience with data governance, business analyst, or data analyst type roles
•    Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills, with attention to detail  

•    Experience and knowledge of prudential regulation and reporting
•    Experience and knowledge of mortgages and a General Insurance business
•    Preparing senior management reports and updates
•    Experience in bringing people together to achieve a common goal 

•    Ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships, across a diverse range of stakeholders
•    Ability to influence and ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner
•    Confidence to own your opinions and challenge others in a professional manner 
•    Curious mindset with a willingness to learn.

•    Relevant degree in Business / Finance
