About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager in the Credit Cards & Personal Lending team, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving the performance of ANZ’s Credit Cards portfolio.  

This is asenior, hands-on product leadership rolefor someone who is commercially-minded and comfortable owning outcomes endtoend. You will move confidently between strategy and execution, make clear tradeoffs, and roll up your sleeves to ensure results land in a complex, regulated environment.  

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Cards, you’ll own portfolio performance using customer insight, data and metrics to prioritise work that delivers commercial outcomes and customer value. You’ll work closely with technology, digital, operations, marketing, risk and legal teams to deliver outcomes that are robust, compliant and built to scale.

This is a rare opportunity to shape products used by millions of customers and make a real difference to everyday financial lives. You’ll tackle meaningful challenges at scale in the dynamic cards and unsecured lending industry, driving strategy and priorities while owning outcomes and financial performance. This role will suit those motivated by customer impact, commercial ownership, and seeing ideas through to execution.

What will your day look like?

  • Use customer, market and performance data to set clear product strategy and priorities, balancing shortterm impact with longterm value.
  • Develop business cases, ideation and solution discovery to drive proposals that are viable, feasible and desirable  
  • Lead product initiatives end to end, staying close to delivery to remove friction, unblock progress and drive outcomes across the value chain. 
  • Improve products and processes to increase customer engagement, reduce pain-points, and achieve measurable gains in NPS, fewer complaints, and better performance metrics 
  • Actively manage key P&L drivers such as account growth, balances and spend and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation to meet financial KPIs 
  • Integrate risk, compliance, and regulatory considerations early, ensuring solutions are resilient, scalable, and fit for purpose 

 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:         

  • A track record of delivering outcomes in complex environments, with sound commercial judgement, decisive leadership and a clear sense of accountability. 
  • The ability to think strategically while staying close to execution, comfortable moving between big picture direction and detailed problem solving.
  • Sharp analytical skills and the ability to turn customer insight and data into clear priorities and action 
  • Strong stakeholder leadership, with the confidence to influence, challenge, and align senior audiences 
  • Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving with a bias for progress over perfection 
  • Experience may come from product management,delivery, strategy, consulting, transformation, or commercial leadership roles. Financial Services beneficial but not essential
