About the Role
This role is primarily responsible for mainly for NPP, cross border, domestic payments investigation and reconciliation while ensuring that regulatory and bank requirements are met. The individual has to deliver positive customer experience within agreed timeframes i.e. Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The position is required to asssit the Payments Specialist with escalation and support investigation and reconciliation in relation to Inward Remittance, Outward Remittance, Nostro breaks and NPP. Close lliaison with peers group and stakeholders to reduce unreconciled / unidentified items; strictly follow the agreed reporting procedures on those exceptions.

Work Hours: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)
What will your day look like?
- Financial: Support management and business decisions relevant to cost

Customer: Provide a high level of customer service to the internal and external customers, ensuring satisfaction.
Provide accurate and up to date information on all enquiries
Provide any written concerns from customers to manager - escalation of stakeholders' concerns appropriately
Ensure all customer correspondence is clear and concise
- Process : Consistently meet targets in terms of quality and accuracy to ensure that requests/transactions are actioned within SLAs
Good knowledge of systems and application
Investigate & reconcile Group Services Australia payments
Accountability for Risk and Compliance
Take initiative to identify potential process or services improvements, and present to senior leadership with the solutions and the benefits
Experience on SWIFT (ISO 150522 / 20022) and payments platform

People: Develop good working relationships with all stakeholders
Be a leader , proactively participate in meetings and take active part in team activities

Risk/ Complience/ Behaviour : Adhere to risk and compliance framework
Complete all RAF courses on time
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Banking experience in reconciliation & investigations in relation to Domestic ( NPP) & Cross Border Payments, RTGS, PEGA PRS Workflow and TLM is required. Experience in handling SWIFT enquiries and non value messages, payment modes and AUD clearing services preferred.
- Good Communication skills and AOM knowledge is preferred to support TL/Manager with AOM variance/ Load meetings
- Computer knowledge and skills, and familiarity with applications, MS Office suite
- Ability to work under pressure and meet cut-offs and good managerial skills to lead team members effectively to achieve the corporate goal
