About the Role

 

At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we need a talented Senior PMO Manager, CPS230 Institutional to join our Delivery team. The CPS230 Institutional Delivery team sits within Institutional Business Governance & Controls business but works closely with the Enterprise Non Financial Risk (NFR) Transformation project and business stakeholders.

 

About CPS230: Across the globe, the regulators have an increasing focus on operational risk management and the operational resilience of critical operations and business lines. Operational Resilience is the ability to “prevent, adapt, respond to, recover and learn from operational disruptions.” Prudential standard “CPS 230 Operational Risk Management” is effective from the 1st July 25 and aims to ensure that an APRA-regulated entity is resilient to operational risks and disruptions. An APRA-regulated entity must effectively manage its operational risks, maintain its critical operations through disruptions, and manage the risks arising from service providers.

 

This role would suit an experienced, well rounded, adaptable and motivated PMO Manager who would like to join a team of like minded professionals focussed on optimising the organisation’s Non Financial Risk management. It will work closely with Project and Business stakeholders to ensure CPS230 compliances and optimise the risk benefits.

What will your day look like?

 

As the Senior PMO Manager, you will:

 

  • Assist CPS230 Delivery Lead to establish project governance and develop a roadmap of uplift and change activities

  • Support the Institutional CPS230 integration with the Enterprise Project PMO activities

  • Actively manage risks, issues and interdependencies to ensure Institutional Delivery is in line with plan

  • Ensure delivery adheres to established ANZ project management frameworks and goverance

  • Assist to draft project status updates against key milestones, regulatory commitments, financial forecasts and expected resource profile to Steering Committees

  • Work with the global Institutional business as well as Enterprise and other Divisions to ensure alignment and achievement of program objectives

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • A desire to optimise stakeholder’s experiences and deliver as part of the CPS230 program

  • Flexible approach in mobilising around the work where it is required

  • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders across business units and regions

  • Work across multiple program streams including change management, business readiness and communications, data migration and system implementation

  • Document outcomes and socialise with the business stakeholders to complete outcomes in line with the requisite standards

  • Extensive problem solving “toolkit”. Broad range of visualisation techniques covering scope, progress, culture, goal, etc.

  • Existing functional experience or expertise as a business focused PMO Manager

  • Experience within compliance and risk focussed projects is highly beneficial
