About the Role
The Senior Manager, Organisation Design & Implementation leads the day-to-day delivery and execution of large, complex people and workforce transformation initiatives, ensuring clear business outcomes are achieved. These initiatives may include the development of new operating models, organisation design and restructures, location or offshoring strategies, M&A people streams, data-led workforce analysis or broader transformation programs.
The role acts as a critical integrator across business stakeholders, T&C partners, project teams and cross-functional contributors to drive progress, manage complexity and deliver outcomes at pace. This includes leading project teams, managing risks and interdependencies, removing roadblocks, supporting governance and providing subject matter expertise across core OD&I delivery areas.
The role may lead a standalone program or manage a major stream within a broader enterprise transformation initiative, balancing strategic outcomes, stakeholder needs, total investment, delivery risk and time to benefit. The role will also provide strategic advice and challenge to business leaders on organisational effectiveness, operating model design, workforce impacts and implementation considerations.
This role also has accountability for performing administrative people management responsibilities and supporting the professional development of OD&I Consultants who report into the role, in addition to managing the primary OD&I relationship with senior divisional leadership for the Division(s) aligned to the role.

What could your day look like?
- Identifying, orchestrating, and providing delivery oversight for OD&I services in partnership with the business and T&C Business Partnering
- Strategic program planning (including development of a critical path and activity sequencing to meet business milestones), ensuring ongoing alignment to Divisional and Enterprise priorities
- Division delivery management (prioritisation, coordination of delivery, identification, and management of dependencies across workstreams, delivery of OD&I portfolio reporting)
- Program or project delivery on strategic high-complexity initiatives, across a broad set of workforce transformation disciplines
- Engaging with senior stakeholders day-to-day across the Division(s) aligned to the role and Talent & Culture
- Providing divisional strategic & business context, and escalation for OD&I practitioners leading projects within allocated divisions
- Responsible for the personal development and performance reviews of any direct reports
- Involvement and key input into OD&I governance, including prioritisation, resource allocation, performance evaluations and decision making
- Working across OD&I and broader T&C teams to build knowledge and capability in elements of workforce transformation
- Based on area(s) of expertise, provide thought leadership in OD&I related services, partnering with relevant Senior Lead to turn strategy into action, optimising processes and delivering value
- Monitoring key metrics and measures of success, including progress against outcomes, delivery milestones, financial impacts and benefits realisation.
- Supporting leaders and stakeholders through the people impacts of transformation, ensuring implementation activities are thoughtful, compliant and people-centred.
- Building trusted relationships with business leaders, T&C BPs, T&C teams, cross-functional partners and other key stakeholders to resolve issues and remove barriers to success.

- Strategic program management and delivery experience in a complex, fast-changing environment
- Ability to work in a dynamic, agile and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Ability to manage divisional backlog, align workstream priorities, coordinate interdependencies and proactively manage risks
- Planning and breaking down work into meaningful components aligned to the plan with effective sequencing/critical path – ability to cut through unnecessary work, focus only on essentials/value add and ensure delivery at pace
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders, creating a shared purpose that brings people together to deliver outstanding outcomes aligned to a mission
- Ability to be a connector – acutely aware of teams and stakeholders in a way that you know when and how to leverage the expertise of others to deliver
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interact with a range of stakeholders at all levels
- Multi-disciplinary experience and/or exposure across a range workforce transformation programs, including capability or experience in (but not limited to) organisational design, change management, operating model, restructures, offshoring, workforce strategy and workforce planning.
- Deep experience leading teams and mentoring senior transformation delivery practitioners
- Ability to drive commercial conversations and translate into an actionable delivery plan to realise value
- Experience working with data management, reporting, administration or data quality activities
- Understanding of data governance, controls and risk management practices
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and other data management tools to analyse, maintain and report on data
- Experience working with workforce, HR or organizational design data.
