About Us

At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.

About the Role

This role provides independent second line oversight of operational risk across the Group Operations Complaints and Collections functions, including Project Fortify, PACT and ASIC matters. It reviews and challenges material risks, risk assessments, control design and effectiveness, and the embeddedness of risk frameworks across end-to-end value chains, processes, systems and data.

As the Senior Manager Operations Risk, Group Operations you will lead assurance and closure validation for key projects, provide clear risk insight to senior leaders and governance forums, and escalate material control gaps to strengthen risk-informed decision-making. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and judgement, you will partner constructively with the first line while maintaining independent challenge and accountability.

Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.

Role Type: Permanent
