About the Role

The Group Control Room is a global compliance function within Institutional Compliance which supports the business to identify and manage conflicts of interest. The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for supporting the organisation to meet its regulatory obligations, maintain policies and procedures and to monitor the risk for the enterprise.

Role Location: Sydney or Melbourne

Role Type: Permanent

What will your day look like?

This role is accountable for:

• Provide enterprise monitoring and reporting for the conflicts of interest risk theme.
• Responsible for policy implementation, maintenance, ensuring awareness and providing proactive training
• Support Divisions and Business units by providing subject matter expertise for transactional conflicts, employee personal account dealing and employee personal conflicts.
• Provide oversight of emerging global risk themes via stakeholder reporting

What will you bring?

Previous experience in a Control Room Compliance function.

• Strong knowledge of Institutional products and advisory
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end policy lifecycle underpinned by practical experience in obligation and control requirements.
• Reporting Analysis and Insights
• International Institutional Banking experience
