About the Role

Responsible for structuring, negotiation, and executing client complex lending transactions primarily for wholesale (commercial) deals.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Lending Advisory Manager, you will be responsible for managing:

• Customer – Exceptional Client Experience and Client Satisfaction as it relates to lending needs and solutions on an end to end basis

• People – Seamlessly collaborating and supporting frontline bankers across functions, sponsoring deals through credit risk to ensure the identified risks are mitigated and credits fall within the Bank’s risk appetite.

• Process / Risk – Ensure that the execution of all Lending activities are completed in a timely manner, ensuring client satisfaction and a high quality of analysis, team capability. management & reporting of Credit, Market, Operational & Compliance key risks

• Reputation – Embedding a risk culture where best interests of the client and the bank are in line with community expectations

• Financial – Delivery of risk which balances business, customer and regulatory requirements

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

• Proven management skills

• Extensive experience within a Banking/Financial services industry and lending expertise

• Experience in managing teams and managing a lending book, structuring & negotiating complex credit with clients

• Ability to exercise senior level Credit Approval Discretion (CAD) in Wholesale (commercial) applications

• Has already held or can demonstrate ability to qualify for and exercise a senior Wholesale (Dual / Sole Corp)  CAD

• Well proven stakeholder management and influencing skills
