About Us

At ANZ, we're applying new ways technology and data can be harnessed as we work towards a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.

About the Role

As Change Manager within Talent & Culture’s Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Project (PACT), you will lead the change approach to deliver divisional NFR priorities under the Court Enforceable Undertaking. You will partner with project and business leaders to drive adoption of the program activities, embed uplifted NFR and ways of working, and support sustainable improvements in risk management practices.

This role requires strong operational risk and risk management expertise, combined with a practical delivery mindset and experience working in regulated environments. Experience in delivering maturity uplift programs in risk management and/or supporting APRA remediation programs and/or Enforceable Undertakings is highly desirable.

To be successful in this role, we need a passionate risk professional that can lead the uplift in risk maturity, capability and application of risk management activities within Talent & Culture.

Role Type: Permanent
Role Location:
Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney
Work Hours:
9am - 5pm

What will your day look like?

You will lead the end-to-end change approach for PACT, partnering across Talent & Culture to ensure NFR activities and ways of working are adopted, embedded and sustained.

As a Change Manager, you will be:

  • Role modelling the change and uplift required across Talent & Culture and Enterprise ANZ
  • Defining and delivering change strategies that enable NFR uplift activities under the APRA Enforceable Undertaking program (PACT). Bringing a strong sense of “why” to everything we do.
  • Leading change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis across Talent & Culture to inform approach, sequencing and resourcing.
  • Developing and executing integrated change plans, including communications, training, engagement and readiness activities.
  • Partnering with Project Managers, SMEs and business stakeholders to embed change into delivery, aligned to enterprise standards and governance requirements.
  • Establishing sustainable change practices that support the implementation and ongoing adherence to operational risk and compliance improvements.
  • Producing high-quality change artefacts and communication materials for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Contributing to risk culture uplift by enabling behavioural change, building leader alignment and reinforcing expected risk practices.
  • Measuring change effectiveness through feedback loops, readiness assessments and sustainability reviews, and adjusting plans to improve adoption outcomes.

What will you bring?

To grow and succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in risk management, change management or regulated environments
  • Demonstrated delivery of change for operational risk, compliance, or non-financial risk programs, with measurable adoption outcomes
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and the Three Lines of Defence model
  • Experience supporting APRA-led remediation or transformation initiatives (Enforceable Undertaking experience is highly regarded)
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including at executive and senior leader level. Strong story telling and presentation skills is a must.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory and risk requirements into clear, practical messaging and adoption strategies
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and how they integrate with project delivery and governance
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and visual), with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
