About the Role

Customer and Identity Services (C&IS) are looking for someone who is passionate about transformational change and doing great things for our customers, to help us redefine banking for the future to better support our customers’ financial wellbeing.   

As a Business Analyst / Journey Expert, your role is crucial in helping ANZ Plus build and develop the propositions that customers love and prepare for the migration of ANZ customers onto the ANZ Plus platform.  

This role will support an agile squad in the ANZ Plus Manage & Share episode, in Customer and Identity Services.  We have a mission to empower customers to join and interact with ANZ Plus effortlessly, with high levels of trust, and putting them in control of their identity.  In this role, you’ll get involved in industry schemes relating to the Consumer Data Right (commonly known as Open Banking), utilising data sharing opportunities to create propositions that add value to our customers while maintaining our compliance obligations.

What could your day look like?

It's a very fast paced environment so no two days will be the same. We build robust squads so the ability to wear multiple hats when needed is essential. The team will look up to you for direction and guidance as they tackle new propositions. Your key accountabilities include:  

• Working with your squad to define features, break down and sequence them into epics and user stories to support the agile delivery across mobile apps, web and integrations
• Supporting PO and CX/UX designers in proposition development to deliver a radically improved Open Banking experience 
• Managing risk, controls, and product governance requirements as our features evolves
• Managing operational and feature readiness; working with stakeholders from Legal, Change, Risk, Technology, and Security to ensure end to end delivery readiness and endorsements
• Monitoring and reviewing in-market features, building insights and metrics on how customers use these features and identifying areas of improvements/opportunities  
• Collaborate with and support other product teams enhance or create new propositions by utilising data sharing.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring the following: 

• Proven ability to define, develop and deploy complex, technically focused mobile/digital propositions into customer’s hands 
• Demonstrated agile delivery experience, such as authoring of user stories, requirements gathering and release activities 
• Extensive experience working within cross-functional, agile or continuous delivery teams
• Ability to explore customer needs in a data-driven way, develop and implement innovative solutions, test the outcomes, and iterate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience engaging with stakeholders across various levels within the business and the ability to influence outcomes
• A desire to continuously learn new techniques and technologies
• Proven experience in open banking/data sharing is not essential, but is favourable.
