About the Role
The Senior Associate, Risk Culture helps bring ANZ’s culture and risk culture ambitions to life by supporting the initiatives, insights and practices that shape how risk is understood, challenged and managed across the bank. Working at the intersection of culture, behavioural insight and risk management, the role helps translate data and signals into practical actions that strengthen decision-making, accountability and better outcomes for customers, communities and ANZ.

What will your day look like?
What you'll be doing:

Demonstrate ANZ values and behaviours through all interactions, every day

Support the embedment of the Risk Culture approach within the broader risk architecture and employee lifecycle processes.

Plan, manage and track cyclical and targeted Risk Culture initiatives

Support the continuous evolution of leading and lagging Risk Culture metrics, measurement approaches and tools, analytics and reporting

Provide SME advice on Risk Culture analytics and reporting to generate commercially relevant behavioural insights for people leaders and executives

Support Risk Culture assessments through data analysis, synthesis of findings and contribution to insights and reporting

Maintain Risk culture standards, procedures and guides

Build effective working relationships across Risk, the Businesses, Talent & Culture and other control functions to support the delivery of Risk Culture initiatives

Support engagement with Internal Audit and regulators, as required
What will you bring?
-
Experience in organisational psychology, culture and ideally risk culture, applied in a 2LOD risk management context
-
Strong capability in measurement, analytics and insight generation, including the ability to apply sound, commercial judgement in complex and evolving contexts.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write and present information clearly and effectively.

Strong project and timeline management skills, with the ability to work effectively amid ambiguity and pace.

Working knowledge of change management principles and how behavioural change is embedded in practice, combined with a collaborative, proactive mindset and willingness to learn.

Experience in financial services, banking or other highly regulated environments.

Experience working in transformation programs
