As an Engineer, your role is to enable the smooth build, optimisation and improvement of the Authentication Risk Engine and related technical components.

What will your day look like?

 

As an Engineer working within the Risk Engine team, you will be responsible for building and evolving ANZ’s Zero Trust Risk Engine platform, along with developing capabilities to enhance ANZ’s security posture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security engineering, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration

Working closely with the architects and vendor you will provide technical expertise to deploy Risk Engine, assist with defining enforcement policies, testing of capabilities, providing strategic leadership, fostering a culture of continuous learning by upskilling team members, and adeptly removing roadblocks to ensure seamless project execution and optimal team performance and we will be looking to you to provide advice on the right mix of solutions to run, maintain and evolve the Risk Engine capabilities for ANZ.

What will you bring?

 

  • Able to formulate multiple solution options to a problem statement and provide most optimal recommendation
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and its implementation
  • 7+ years experience in security engineering with designing and deploying security solutions
  • 5+ years' experience with infrastructure projects including deploying and management of Domain Controllers
  • Experience in configuring Active Directory with strong technical expertise with authentication protocols
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to domain controllers, such as authentication problems.
  • Experience with managing and integrating multiple security solutions including endpoint security solutions to achieve desired outcomeUnderstanding of Identity and Access Management principles
  • Knowledge and practical experience in implementing and supporting Identity and Access Management platforms
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Conditional Access, OpenID Connect, SAML, etc.) and Federation Services
  • Expertise in managing multi-cloud deployments using DevOps tooling including deployment, upgrade and lifecycle managementHands-on development experience scripting language (preferable: Python and PowerShell, Terraform code, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Deep knowledge in MFA token providers such as MS Authenticator, FIDO2 Yubikey and RSA Cloud
  • Deep knowledge on lateral movement attacks such as Kerberoasting, Pass the Hash and Pass the Ticket
  • Deep understanding of SPNs and service classes used in Kerberos authentication such as HOST, CIFS, TERMSRV, HTTP, etc. including security tools that use those SPNs and protocols
  • Deep knowledge on different identity providers such as Active Directory, Entra ID and PingFederate SSO
  • Hands-on experience in administrating and troubleshooting Windows, Linux and TCP/IP networks
