About the Role

As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible in managing the development and execution of collections strategies, along with the measurement, monitoring, and reporting frameworks that support operational efficiency and minimize bad debt across secured and unsecured products. The role also involves managing projects and portfolios to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

Work Hours: Full Time (40 hours/weekly)

What will your day look like?

As a Risk Manager, you will:

• Lead initiatives to optimise collections systems, credit strategies, and operational processes through the implementation of predictive decision tools.

• Drive the development and implementation of collections strategies aligned with operational goals, ensuring measurable financial impact and continuous performance improvement through the project team.

• Act as a key liaison across business units, collections, recoveries, and risk teams to align strategies, resolve issues, and prioritize initiatives.

• Ensure all strategies comply with governance, legal, and regulatory standards, while proactively identifying and addressing risks and opportunities.

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Strong knowledge of collections processes, relevant legislation, and compliance with ANZ Group governance and regulatory standards.

• Extensive experience in risk management, with expertise in retail and commercial product strategies.

• Deep understanding of global best practices in collections strategies, systems, and risk management techniques.

• Proven ability to develop, deliver, and implement effective collections strategies across operational teams.

• Skilled in using collections systems and tools, with strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experienced in leading system and process enhancements aligned with global standards through cross-functional project collaboration.
