About the Role

The purpose of the role is to perform detailed and complex calculations to determine the amount of compensation / remediation payment. Daily responsibilities of the role include: collating of historical customer trading data in equities, fixed interest and managed funds, performing remediation calculation from the data compiled, reviewing data, running alternative scenarios and providing guidance on the remediation approach to a customer.

What will your day look like?

Consider the following questions:

  • Do you have a proven track record in delivering tasks which involve individual and large scale complex calculations?
  • Do you have a strong interest in delivery of effective and efficient remediation solutions for customers?
  • Do you have an absolute passion for provision of a high standard and high accuracy of output?
  • Are you able to work on tasks both individually and collectively as a team?
  • Do you demonstrate strong discipline in your design and maintenance of documents, manuals and processes?

What will you bring?

  • Tertiary degree in business, mathematics, or a related field or proven ability in those areas
  • Previous experience in Financial Advice or unit trust
  • Previous experience in Financial Services industries
  • Proven experience in tax, actuarial, advice or fraud services
  • Ability to facilitate detriment determination through compensation calculations and related activities
  • Strong attention to detail and financial data, numerical/analytical skills
