About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the holistic management of paid media services to facilitate Suncorp Bank’s paid media program in alignment with ANZ Group Paid Media Strategy and Plan. This role aims to drive effective media placements, enhance campaign performance, and support the overall marketing objectives of Suncorp Bank.

 

You will involve interaction with the following stakeholder groups
•    ANZ and Suncorp Bank Marketing 
•    Product Marketing
•    Advertising team
•    Agency partners
•    Marketing Ops and Finance
•    MarTech
•    Procurement
•    Market research and Insights
•    Internal Communications team

 

Role Location: Melbourne, VIC or Brisbane, QLD

Role Type:  12 months Fixed Term Contract, Full-time

What will your day look like?

As the Queensland Media Specialist, you will be accountable for:

•    Support for GTM planning and coordination
•    Oversee campaign asset production to support campaign delivery
•    Support multi-channel end-to-end campaign and initiatives strategies and campaign production
•    Timely and successful execution of partnership initiatives
•    Ensuring appropriate staffing at Media Agency to meet Suncorp Bank's needs, managing allocation of resources
•    Overseeing and support all media agencies, ensuring alignment with Suncorp Bank's goals and standards
•    Conducting annual commercial negotiations with media publishers to establish ANZ group media buying rates and perform monthly reviews of performance against rates and quarterly reviews against industry averages to maintain competitive positioning.
•    Collaborating with Suncorp Bank and PHD to develop and maintain channel playbooks, optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of media placements across various channels (e.g., Television, Outdoor, Radio) with a focus on channel capability, effectiveness, and audience data.
•    Identifying media landscape, competitive and channel trends and providing actionable insights. 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
•    Demonstrated problem solving skills
•    Strong paid media experience working with media agencies.
•    Strong communication, problem solving and quantitative analysis skills. Ability to translate analysis outcomes into commercial solutions.
•    Evidence of strong relationship building skills across multiple stakeholders, including experience working with vendors.
•    Technical minded with background in software application, customer service and/or business support role.
•    Business / Commercial acumen: Track record of being able to deliver both commercial results and better customer experiences. Acts as a trusted advisor.
•    Great conceptual thinker and deep understanding of Customer Experience (CX) principles, frameworks and methodologies.
•    Understands macro trends and how they are influencing customer behaviour and driving opportunities.
•    Gets people excited about an idea, concept, product or service being offered. Carefully prepares arguments and presentations ahead of meetings
•    Identifies opportunities for improvements in outcomes, processes and systems to improve results and performance
•    Experience working in a corporate environment, focused on managing financial & performance frameworks in a complex organisation
