About the Role

 

ANZ’s Group Property function supports our commercial workplaces across Australia. This role focuses on ANZ’s Property Portfolio in Melbourne, enabling Business Units (BUs) to achieve their strategic objectives through creating a great workplace experience for all employees.

 

As a Property Business Partner, you will translate BU strategies and operational needs into practical, future-ready workplace solutions. You will proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure physical environments reflect ANZ’s workplace guidelines, support day-to-day performance, and remain responsive to shifting business priorities.

 

Beyond capturing requirements, the Property Business Partner will challenge assumptions and guide BUs toward better ways of working—leveraging data, best-practice insights, and property expertise to identify improvements, efficiencies, and opportunities to enhance the employee experience.

What will your day look like?

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with BU stakeholders to ensure workplace expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Proactively plan and develop workplace solutions that support current and future BU requirements that align with workplace guidelines.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for management of operational and day-to-day workplace requests and issues.
  • Identify relevant BU insights and opportunities through engagement and data analysis
  • Collaborate with the broader Group Property function to identify and deliver workplace solutions that optimise value through time, cost, and quality.
  • Work closely with alliance partners to implement approved strategies within agreed time and cost parameters.
  • Ensure all relevant workplace data is accurate in property databases & financial systems.
  • Prepare regular workplace status and performance reports within specified timeframes, including recommendations on current and future issues and opportunities.
  • Manage and monitor project plans to support investment activity including those from third party suppliers.
  • Ensure capital works align with business requirements, workplace guidelines, and accommodation KPIs.
  • Work collaboratively with BUs, Group Property teams and Technology to meet accommodation expectations.
  • Responsible for full compliance with Group Property guidelines.
  • Ensure all BU workplace activities meet statutory codes, group policies and guidelines. Any deviations are to be identified and rectified promptly, with action taken to prevent reoccurrence.
