About the Role
As a Project Manager / Delivery Manager in T&C you are responsible for the planning, governance and successful delivery of a contained project or initiative.
Role Type: Permanent
Role Location: Melbourne
Work Hours: Full-Time
What will your day look like?
- Defining governance, embedding and ensuring adherence,
- Preparing estimates and detailed plan for all phases of delivery e.g. activity definition, sequencing, resource estimating, duration and schedule development.
- Reporting on delivery progress and success criteria results including initiative scope and changes
- Managing testing and deployment management activities
- Recording & tracking value in PPM
- Identifying and managing risk, issues and taking corrective measures
- Identifying and managing dependencies (internally and externally)
- Compliance adherence e.g. ensuring change has been assessed against the impacted business’s obligations
- Managing the initiative’s financials e.g. planning, estimating, budgeting and controlling costs to deliver within budget
- Developing stakeholder matrix and defining the interest of each group and ongoing engagement
- Change management
What will you bring?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management delivery, ideally within an HR team
- Previous experience within a professional / financial services environment
- Experience in executing governance practices surrounding key project management processes
- Stakeholder management: Proven ability to build strong relationships
- Strong communication, both written and verbal.
- Business & product acumen: Keenness and quickness to understand and deal with a business situation (risks and opportunities) in a manner that is likely to lead to a good outcome.
- Problem solving & analysis: Identify and evaluating problems and patterns across a broader system to find and implement a solution.
- Critical thinking: Use logic and reasoning to analyse, evaluate and synthesize a range of information to understand an opportunity or challenge and develop recommended solutions
