About the Role

 

As a Product Owner - Talent Management, you will play a key role within our Digital Employee Experience team, leading the evolution of critical Talent, Culture & Communications (T&C) technology products. You'll be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and continuous improvement of Talent Management solutions across the employee lifecycle, including Performance, Reward & Recognition, Succession Planning, and Development processes.

 

Working closely with HR leaders, technology partners, and global stakeholders, you'll ensure our platforms, particularly SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow, deliver exceptional employee experiences and support ANZ's people strategy. You'll lead a team of product and technology professionals while driving innovation, adoption, and business value through modern HR technology solutions.

What will your day look like?

 

As a Product Owner - Talent Management, you will:

 

  • Own and drive the product roadmap for Talent Management capabilities across SAP SuccessFactors and related HR platforms.
  • Partner with Talent, Culture & Communications leaders and subject matter experts to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enhancements and projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, user training, and support.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to develop solutions aligned to business priorities and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Manage SAP SuccessFactors releases and enhancements, assessing impacts, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Prioritise and manage product backlogs, balancing strategic initiatives with operational support requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, workshops, demonstrations, and feedback sessions to maximise value delivery.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and technology providers.
  • Contribute to the long-term vision for Talent Management technology and employee experience at ANZ.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions.

 

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

 

  • Extensive experience as a Product Owner, HR Technology Lead, or Senior Business Analyst in HR systems and Talent Management solutions.
  • Strong experience leading teams within Agile and SaaS product delivery environments.
  • Deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, including Performance & Goals, Compensation, Succession, and Development modules.
  • Relevant SAP SuccessFactors certifications across Talent Management modules.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow and integrating HR technology ecosystems.
  • Proven capability in product roadmap development, prioritisation, and stakeholder influence across complex organisations.
  • Strong project delivery experience spanning design, development, testing, deployment, and change adoption.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle management, and human-centred design principles.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating exceptional employee experiences.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence will be highly regarded.
