About the Role
The newly established Home Ecosystem Value Stream under Innovation, Partnerships and Design is building products, services and experiences that will help our customers navigate the challenging process of buying a home to bring to life the vision of helping more Australians save, find, buy and manage their home.
Our goal is to help more Australians save on home related purchases and upgrades. To realise this, we are exploring ways to help our customers save money on running their property through rewards, offers and cashback.
As a Product Owner, you will work directly with the Product Area Lead to discover, define, develop and deliver on products and features that make this an engaging, rewarding and valuable experience.

What will your day look like?
Design and deliver on the vision for a rewards, offers and cashback experience within ANZ Plus. Working hand in glove with the Product Area Lead, other POs inside and outside the value stream, you will;
- Guide squads (up to 4) to leverage our rewards partnerships that increase the value and engagement of our customers.
- Be a leader and mentor for team members, to create a more engaging and fulfilling working environment.
- Helping the team align, document and articulate the new vision into business/technical requirements that our engineering teams can build, test and implement.
- Drive the Rewards features that contribute to the evolving roadmap of the Value Stream.
- Lead cross-squad and/or Value Stream(s) deliverables that drive on customer and business outcomes.
- Owning and driving all "Rewards" related experiences and capabilities across the program.
- Be the subject mater expert on all things Rewards offerings, competitors and technology.
- Identifying, documenting and managing risks, issues and decisions.
- Drive engagement and collaboration with third party partners whilst ensuring the commercial outcome is in the best interests of the Value Stream.
- Help drive Agile practises to ensure a sustainable pace is achieved within the squads.
What will you bring?
Expertise as a digital product owner or product manager. Experience building and running consumer-facing digital experiences demonstrated through a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences:
- An understanding of how Rewards work and passionate ideas on how the processes and/or experience can be transformed.
- Hands-on Product Owner experience in a technology led environment.
- A willingness to test and transform the status quo, you’re energised by building new customer solutions and making improvements to existing value propositions.
- Lead from the centre approach to culture building. You stretch outside of your remit and help out where necessary.
- Never satisfied with “good enough” – desire to push ideas and encourage your peers to do the same. Critical thinking is your strong point.
- A natural engager and influencer of stakeholders, this role will see you working with many squads and stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Successfully shipped features iteratively, at scale, in a complex environment.
- Experience with Agile ways of working through tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma and Slack as well as a solid understanding of banking and financial wellbeing highly regarded.
