About the Role
The Group Control Room is a global compliance function within Institutional Compliance which supports the business to identify and manage conflicts of interest. As the Business Control Owner for the Conflicts of Interest technology solution you will be responsible for creating, prioritising and executing a roadmap with Enterprise business partners, ANZ Technology and third party vendors to enable ANZ to meet any applicable regulatory requirements.

Role Type: Permanent, Full time
What will your day look like?
- Independently design, build, test and implement automated regulatory compliance controls and stakeholder reporting.
- Platform Governance oversight as related to employee policy adherence, risk, audit, and regulatory compliance.
- Uplift of existing Technology Infrastructure (implementation of snowflake data analytics)
- Risk owner delegate for Data and Technology Risk Themes
- Provide platform users with policy and procedure education materials.
- Perform quality assurance for the Identification and management of conflicts for junior members of the team.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- User experience platform workflow design.
- Understanding of data Infrastructure and experience implementing technology risk management strategies.
- Domain Knowledge – strong understanding of Institutional financial products, trading practices, regulatory environment.
- Understanding of ANZ Delivery Framework and ANZ enterprise risk management principles and practices (BSBC 239, DaaC)
- Knowledge of Corporate Finance deal lifecycle and ANZ platforms – Mercury, OCP.
- People Leadership experience
