About the Role

As a Product Manager in our Transact & Save portfolio, you’ll play a key role in helping to deliver easy to use, exceptional experiences to help our commercial customers save, make payments and get paid

 

The role is within the Product Management Team, which is responsible for developing and delivering product strategies, managing product variation, and providing expert advice to the broader business on specific product related enquiries.

 

This role will be focused on the product management of Transact & Save Specialist accounts. While you’ll primarily support a specific product/stream, there is the opportunity for you to work across other products within the broader team, and to work on initiatives that span more than one product.

What will your day look like?

As a Product Manager, you are responsible for:

 

  • Product design and strategy development, including delivering on product growth and momentum initiatives 
  • Day to day product management and adherence to ANZ Product Management Policy. 
  • Product Variation delivery by working with a number of key business stakeholders. 
  • Providing SME support to the broader business on specific product related enquiries

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Prior experience working with Commercial deposit or payments products.
  • Experience in product management.
  • Customer focus: ability to define and measure success through the eyes of the customer and banker, anticipate, understand and respond to evolving customer need.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into solutions.
  • Ability to explore solutions and articulate recommendations using data driven analysis.
  • Influencing and Relationship Building skills: a high level of influencing and negotiating skills by demonstrating a sophisticated repertoire of influencing techniques with the ability to adjust style to different contexts and audiences. Ability to identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Business Analysis: Ability to translate business requirements into solutions by understanding needs, feasibility and impact 
  • Data Interpretation: Use data and reporting to draw insights to problem solve and/or inform business or customer decisions. 
  • Planning & Prioritisation: Plan and prioritise what needs to be done (including people, process and technology implications) to deliver upon customer/user needs and strategic priorities. This includes identifying, planning for, tracking and resolving dependencies. 
  • Relationship Management - build, maintain and influence relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. 
  • Communication - excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Strong technical experience with Excel preferred.
