About the Role
As a Product Management Analyst in Institutional Banking, you will report into the Head of Front Office Support & Governance with a matrix to Product Manager - Solutions and Quants. You will work closely with the global Business Execution and Product Management team as well as Desk Risk Management and will be responsible for enhancing controls that further mitigate NFR within product management.

What will your day look like?
As a Product Management Analyst, you will:
- Lead the implementation of the Unapproved Dealing Report which will involve;
- Running the tool on a monthly basis
- Working with large amounts of data that are consumed by the tool
- Process improvements on the trade extracts from trading systems and product register
- Continuously uplift product mapping using Microsoft Access and working with support team for larger changes
- Coordinate the compliance and legal reviews to remediate identified exceptions
- Embed the Unapproved Dealing Report into the NFR framework
- Design and agree periodic reporting to Markets Product Committee
- Develop governance framework including exception management. Lead remediation activities as required
- Contribute and as required, lead product management initiatives
- Update procedures as required to support wider product management team
- Undertake Product Management and Product Delivery tasks
- Lead data improvements via Appian as the solution used to manage product approvals and updates to the product register
- Manage large data sets via Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Knowledge of the Financial Markets and the environment that ANZ Markets operates in, with demonstrated understanding of products, sales and trading
- Experience and knowledge of governance, compliance, NFR framework and related policies
- Demonstrated key competencies including ability to manage and deliver change, deliver results, exercise sound judgement, broaden perspective, build relationships (internal & external) and develop self
- Embraces data and providing innovative solutions to meet the changing landscape through maintaining external awareness
- Is team focused and able to co-ordinate across multiple teams to deliver the required outcome
- Intermediate proficiency in software tools Excel and Access and willingness to learn new tools to support the Markets business. Knowledge of Appian, Confluence and Jira would be an advantage
