About the Role

The ANZ Private Office team caters to ANZ's highest net worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and preserve their wealth. We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their values, aspirations, needs and their financial situation.

 

In this role based in the Melbourne CBD you will be the primary relationship contact responsible for a portfolio of Private Office clients. Your role will provide timely and efficient execution of relevant solutions across banking and wealth solutions to these clients and you will work collaboratively with them to navigate ANZ, in order to provide accurate and efficient solutions to their specific needs. As the Private Banker, you will run the portfolio in a risk aware, client centric manner. Collaboration will also be required with Private Advisers, Lending Team, Client Service Teams, other Private Bank segments, and importantly other ANZ business units to fully meet client needs.

Note: The job level may vary between 4.2 to 4.1 dependent on the relevant experience and capabilities of the successful candidate.

What will your day look like?


The Senior Private Banker will be the primary relationship contact responsible for a portfolio of Private Office clients.  This role will provide timely and efficient execution of relevant solutions across banking and wealth solutions to these clients and you will work collaboratively with them to navigate ANZ, in order to provide accurate and efficient solutions to their specific needs. This role will run the portfolio in a risk aware, client centric manner. Collaboration will also be required with Specialists, Lending Team, CST, other Private Bank segments, and importantly other ANZ business units in order to fully meet client needs.


As a Senior Private Banker, your key accountabilities include:

  •  Retention of banking funds and effective margin management for client groups on set

  • Delivering revenue growth and meet financial targets as necessary

  • Ensuring the delivery of an engaging client experience with ANZ Private Office in response to client need

  • Ensuring lending is suitable and compliant and all decisions are communicated quickly

  • Ensuring appropriate and consistent governance across the set whilst maintaining strong transaction execution

  • Working with Private Bank Support, Lending and other Specialists to execute effectively on client needs

  • Acquire new Private Office clients that grown revenue, FUM and deliver whole of wallet outcomes

• Excellent communication skills combined with a relationship management background
• Established banking and lending experience
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong understanding of credit processes, policy and credit skills including commercial debt knowledge
• Transactional Banking and Cash Management capabilities
• Proven experience working in banking and relationship management
• Strong focus on compliance, attention to detail & flawless execution
• Results oriented with exceptional ability to deliver outcomes
• Proven internal and external networking skills
