The Privacy Reforms Program is an enterprise-wide three-year program that has been established in response to Privacy risks and regulations continuously evolving. In Australia, the recent reforms passed last year introduced new obligations coupled with heightened penalties. It is pivotal that we remain proactive in our approach to ensure we meet these new obligations and increasing community expectations.
We are seeking an experienced business analyst to join our Privacy Reforms Program. Reporting to the Personal Information (PI) Discovery Lead. In this role, you will be assisting in developing a comprehensive inventory of personal identification (PI) data across the bank. You will work as part of a small team to identify, categorize, and document the various types of locations of PI data.

 

Role Type: 12 Month Secondment
Role Location: Melbourne
Work Hours: Full Time

 

What will your day look like?

 

 

This role is accountable for:

  • Documenting the types and locations of Personal Information (PI) data
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive inventory of PI data across the bank
  • Collaborating with various departments to gather and verify PI data information
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations
  • Providing regular updates and reports on PI data inventory status
  • To comply with future privacy reforms as they become available.

 

What will you bring?

 

 

  • Proven business analysis experience (5+ years)
  • Experience in a data driven environment, with the ability to draw insights and interpretations.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyse and problem solve.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines, and procedures
  • Ability to simplify complex process, think outside the box and drive efficiency.
  • Ready to dive in and work hands-on with enthusiasm and energy as a vital member of a dynamic, fast-paced team.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification desirable.
