About the Role
The Privacy Reforms Program is an enterprise-wide three-year program that has been established in response to Privacy risks and regulations continuously evolving. In Australia, the recent reforms passed last year introduced new obligations coupled with heightened penalties. It is pivotal that we remain proactive in our approach to ensure we meet these new obligations and increasing community expectations.
The Privacy Governance Specialist will be a pivotal role in the Privacy Reforms Program, responsible for creating and operationalising the Automated Decision Making (ADM). You will work as part of a small team to identify where automated decision making (ADM) and supporting divisions to achieve compliance. This role will be responsible for updating both internal and external requirements associated with automated decision making and liaising with data legal to oversee the timeline of Global Data Processing agreement.

What will your day look like?
• Facilitating the discovery and update of the customer facing collections notices across Divisions to achieve ADM compliance
• Facilitate the Risk Assessments (PIA – Privacy Impact Assessment) for identified ADMS
• Demonstratable experience of writing enterprise wide documentation (eg: frameworks, process, operating model)
• Developing outputs that are fit-for-purpose, accurate and meet the requirements of the business
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Adhering to established ANZ policy and procedures
• Demonstratable experience of being part of project and program practices
• Supporting the analysis of project and program risks and issues
• Adhering to change control processes and requirements traceability throughout the life of the project
What will you bring?
• Demonstratable experience (8 years+) in privacy governance or a related field
• Understanding of Privacy Regulations. (Desirable)
• Proven ability to work as part of delivery projects
• Experience in project delivery, governance and leading complex delivery models with strong partner delivery capability.
• Excellent communication and senior stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to develop clear and comprehensive documentation materials.
• Proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate and address privacy governance challenges.
• Problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
