About the Role

As a Personalisation (1-1 Direct Marketing and Web) Specialist, you will be responsible for building customer journeys that are best in class to generate incremental revenue. You will work in the Personalisation business to deliver personalised experiences to create, deepen, and maintain customer relationships through personalised contact with customers. You will be part of a cross-functional squad, collaborating with various teams to achieve the best outcomes. 


Personalisation (1-1 Direct Marketing and Web) specialists help us deliver tailored content and messaging across our direct and owned digital channels. This includes but is not limited to: 

  • Emails (and occasionally) SMS sent to customers 

  • “Nudges” presented to customers within the ANZ App 

  • “Nudges” and customised experiences presented to customers within IB 

  • Customised experiences delivered to customers on the website

What will your day look like?

As a Personalisation Specialist, you will be accountable for: 

 

 

  • Delivering integrated 1-1 below the line, authenticated (ANZ App & IB) and web (anz.com) personalised experiences 

  • Define the customer journey and build out best in class messaging that’s relevant for the channel

  • Working with product and marketing stakeholders to tell customers about our propositions via personalised channels, leveraging new-to-bank marketing technology and capability, to establish best practice guidelines and frameworks for working. 

  • Delivering a plan of personalised experiences designed to achieve customer outcomes for our internal stakeholders 

  • Collaborating within a cross-functional squad to ensure seamless integration and execution of personalisation strategies. 

  • Work across our internal stakeholders and within our area to achieve the necessary approvals to ensure our personalised activity is accurate, compliant and well managed 

  • Setting clear success criteria for our campaigns and ensuring the relevant measurement is setup prior to our activity launching 

  • Analyzing and segmenting data to establish key target audiences for campaigns, ensuring we are using the right inclusion and exclusion criteria. 

  • Measuring, optimizing, and stopping campaigns based on the success metrics 

  • Working with the relevant production partners to develop and productionize campaign messaging. 

  • Working with product owners and capability teams to develop and operationalize new personalisation capabilities. 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Experience in personalisation or direct marketing with a proven track record delivering complex campaigns, customer journeys within a large organisation

  • Data-driven campaign experience including the ability to support end-to-end design, delivery and management of 1-1 and digital (website & app) integrated marketing communications which drive customer engagement

  • Able to keep track of personalisation activity across our area and bring best practice to bear on the campaigns you work on 

  • A commercial background, able to clearly articulate how your work impacts outcomes that matter to your area, your stakeholders and the bank as a whole. 

  • Strong relationship builder 

  • Ability to adapt and grasp new skills and content 

  • Ability to ask for and give feedback 

  • Customer Focus  

  • Marketing/Industry knowledge  

  • Influence and relationship building
