About the Role
The Performance and Delivery Lead will collaborate closely with Business Services Lending (BSL) leads to plan and deliver customer outcomes, drive high performance, and coordinate interdependencies within Business Lending Services. This role involves working across teams to prioritize and refine tasks, breaking them down into meaningful service missions and objectives. Additionally, the role is responsible for developing and measuring performance to provide clarity towards achieving Lending objectives, ensuring alignment, and effectively managing inter-dependencies across Business Services Lending and our consumers.

What will your day look like?
The Delivery and Performance Lead position focuses on ensuring the successful delivery of Business Services Lending, meeting performance standards, and aligning with the broader objectives of the bank while working alongside key stakeholders. This includes:

Building Scalable Processes: Design and implement standardized delivery processes that can be easily optimized and reused across different business services. These processes should ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes while allowing flexibility for diverse business needs.

Collaboration with Product & Tech Leads: Work closely with the product and technical leads to ensure that the product roadmap, timelines, and delivery goals are well understood and aligned with business services objectives and those of Business Services Lending Consumers

KPIs and Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance and success of the solution.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to identify inefficiencies and optimize processes. Use performance data, user feedback, and system insights to continuously refine and enhance delivery approaches, ensuring they are adaptable and responsive to changing business needs.

Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the performance of the solution, working with technical teams to identify areas of improvement and optimization, especially in the context of scalability and meeting the diverse needs of the different divisions/customers.

SLA Management: Oversee the delivery against service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure performance expectations are met across all customers/divisions.

Vender Collaboration for Continuous Improvement: Work with vendors to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and innovation in the solution, ensuring that vendors are contributing to the scalability, efficiency, and quality of the solution.

Risk & Issue Management: Actively manage and mitigate risks and issues that might affect the successful delivery of the solution, particularly those that span multiple teams and divisions.

Customer & Stakeholder Interaction: Regularly engage with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are being met and to maintain strong communication channels.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Experienced Program/Project manager: You are a seasoned Program or Project Manager with extensive delivery experience in successfully implementing complex enterprise wide projects/programs

Extensive knowledge and understanding of financial/bank lending products and processes, specifically related to collateral securities and credit risk policies (extensive experience in relevant financial services is highly regarded)

Exceptional people skills with proven experience in mobilising resources across multifunctional teams across technology and business, as well as demonstrated skills in managing and influencing of stakeholders at senior and executive levels

Expertise in leading end to end delivery and performing analysis and definition of business requirements, conducted impact assessments, communicating change impacts to stakeholders and supported in the end-to-end journey of implementing the change.

Demonstrate commercial acumen, analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
