The role will work through current state of onboarding a partner and help design optimum use of resources and time across the lifecycle for Partners & ANZ. This role is dynamic, fast-paced and muti-faceted, with a strong focus on collaboration, strategic thinking and problem solving by continuously balancing the interests of the Partnership, Business Units, ANZ as a whole and our Partners.
As a Partnership Onboarding Manager in our Group Strategy and Transformation tribe, you’ll play a key role in understanding & redesigning the onboarding process for Partnerships with ANZ. This is a key capability for ANZ Partnerships and will involve deep understanding of how partnerships as set up and governed to realize maximum value for ANZ. This role is responsible for overall business efficiency, which may include process engineering. They review processes and methods to ensure Business Units operate efficiently and with minimal wastage. Roles within this role may use Lean Six Sigma, Human Centred Design, or Agile frameworks to increase business efficiency.

What will your day look like?
The Partnership Onboarding Manager will lead culture change and continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports the delivery of improvement initiatives to support strategic goals and cultural change for the portfolio through prioritisation, leading initiatives and delivering process improvements end to end.
As a Partnership Onboarding Manager, you are accountable for:
- Mapping and analysing partner onboarding processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation in building towards making “ANZ a Partner of choice” to potential partners.
- Collaborating with a number of cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Risk, Security) to understand opportunities to streamline the process while adhering to risk, regulatory and data-sharing requirements, having an appreciation for commercial outcomes for ANZ & partners.
- Supporting data-sharing and commercialization opportunities by ensuring onboarding for partners are efficient and alignment with ANZ requirements.
- Driving ANZ ability to engage with partners by continuously improving the onboarding experience and ensuring efficient, scalable processes.
- Assisting in change implementation for streamlined & optimized processes by working closely with and communicating effectively across various internal stakeholders across business units, risk functions, legal team and other enablement areas.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Deep understanding of information collection, with strong expertise in process and service design, focusing on optimization and efficiency
- Expertise in developing documentation and frameworks inferred from a wide range of data types
- Familiarity with large regulatory landscape ANZ/Financial Institutions operate in
- Data & Privacy expertise with understanding and appreciation for regulatory regimes
- Strong understanding of risk management and compliance requirements
- Project management experience
- Partnership management experience and ability to proactively and smoothly manage complex networks of stakeholder relationships internal and external to ANZ
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills
