About the Role

 

As a PMO Manager supporting the PACT Program, you will work closely with the PMO Lead to support established governance processes and contribute to continuous improvement across the PMO function. Working across Group Risk and Talent & Culture PMO teams, this is a broad, hands-on role supporting financial management, RAID, Steering Committee papers, resourcing, planning and day-to-day program governance. 

 

You will provide structure, coordination and follow-through across the program, taking responsibility for agreed PMO activities and helping improve the consistency and efficiency of existing processes. You will support the PMO Lead with financial management and be accountable for the accuracy, timeliness and quality of the information and reporting you coordinate.

What could your day look like?


As a PMO Manager, you will:

 

  • Support program financial management, including coordinating inputs for budgets, forecasts, actuals, accruals and variance analysis, with accountability for accurate and timely reporting. 
  • Coordinate the preparation of Steering Committee papers, status reports and executive updates, working with teams across the program to collect and consolidate timely, accurate inputs. 
  • Maintain the program RAID register, following up actions and ensuring risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies are current, clearly documented and escalated through the appropriate channels. 
  • Support program resourcing activities, including maintaining workforce plans, vacancy and onboarding trackers, and reporting on capacity and demand. 
  • Identify and implement practical improvements to governance routines, templates and ways of working, with guidance from the PMO Lead. 
  • Work with delivery, change, risk and business teams to gather information, follow up actions and keep agreed governance activities on track. 

 

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Financial management capability is essential, with experience supporting budgets, forecasts, actuals, accruals, variance analysis and financial reporting. 
  • Experience in a PMO, program coordination or governance support role, ideally within a complex transformation environment. 
  • Exposure to RAID, Steering Committee papers, program reporting, resourcing and integrated planning. 
  • Ability to coordinate defined activities, work with a range of stakeholders and follow through on actions with limited supervision. 
  • Clear written communication and the ability to consolidate detailed information into concise, accurate materials for review. 
  • Organised and dependable – You bring accuracy, follow-through and consistency across competing priorities. 
  • Improvement focused – You look for practical ways to simplify processes and improve the quality of PMO outputs. 
  • Collaborative and responsive – You build effective relationships across Group Risk, T&C and the broader program, and seek support when issues require escalation.
