A critical component of our enterprise transformation is ‘Program PACT’ (People, Accountabilities, Customers and Trust), which has been established to deliver better customer, risk and business outcomes through sustainable improvements to ANZ’s non-financial risk management practices.
Our Talent & Culture team is a critical enabler of Program PACT and is also responsible for key deliverables, focused on: transforming our organisational and risk culture; strengthening performance and remuneration frameworks; and building the capabilities our people need to manage risk well and deliver results at pace, in the right way.
As the PMO Lead – Root Cause Remediation Plan within our Talent & Culture program, you’ll play a key role to contribute to providing governance, oversight, controls and consolidated reporting activities across the Program, that supports the consistent implementation and sustainably embedment of NFR management practices that deliver holistic customer, risk, and business outcomes.

What will your day look like?
As a PMO Lead in the Talent & Culture PACT workstreams, you will be:
- Ensure appropriate governance and controls are in place to track and report overall program status, financials, key milestones, issues, risks, changes, inter-dependencies as well as key outcomes (where applicable).
- Outline, maintain and support the necessary processes, templates and tools to be used by the program
- Ensure data quality and availability of information is optimised for reporting & decision-making purposes and consistency, accuracy and timeliness of program reporting
- Establish mechanisms & controls to actively manage, maintain and report on program:
- Financial Management (i.e. ensure financial transactions are correctly reconciled and coded). Responsible for maintaining & controlling the program financials in accordance with set standards and timelines.
- Risks, Assumptions, Issues and dependencies (RAID) as well as Change Control management Actions & Decisions. Identify and escalate risks and issues with the potential to impact on the delivery of project activities or program plans
- Co-ordinate program meetings together with agendas, pre-meeting material, minutes, track attendance, monitoring and reporting on actions
- Actively identify, track and address potential slippage to key deliverables, issues, risks, changes, cost overruns and dependencies together with respective team members to address
- Provide pro-active administrative support to the Program (i.e. team meeting preparation + formalisation of outcomes etc., general administrative requests etc.)
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the program is aligned to business objectives and that the business is ready to take on the changes being implemented
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Program / Project Management Accreditations
- 10 years program / project experience
- Strong PMO skills with accompanying accreditation / qualification or commensurate experience i.e 10 years in program and project management in a transformation / Enforceable Undertaking setting within large organisations.
- Experienced in creating / maintaining / enhancing program / project management frameworks, governance, methodologies, tools and templates
- Strong communications and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a high-performance culture, with a strong desire to work at pace.
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and clarifying stakeholder needs and managing expectations to ensure the delivery of effective service
- Reporting through agreed reporting lines on progress.
- Proactive escalation of issues for resolution and decision making.
- Control of all program costs, resources, scope and change request processes.
- Ensuring procedures and documentation are maintained.
- Identifying means of working smarter and streamlining administration tasks.
- Anticipating change and proactively identifying opportunities.
