About the Role

 

As Operations Specialist in our team, you’ll play a key role in overseeing accounts payable, data input, cash flow forecasting, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You will act as a liaison between point between stakeholders, managing member issues and improving data integrity. You are to provide administrative support, conduct user access reviews, coordinate travel, support contributions processes, and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

What will your day look like?

 

  • Managing accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
  • Maintaining a payment register, including tracking statements of work.
  • Inputting financial data and overseeing the preparation and maintenance of cash flow forecasts.
  • Responding to queries from the superannuation fund administrator and internal stakeholders promptly and accurately.
  • Supporting fortnightly super contributions processes.
  • Conducting periodic reviews of system access to ensure only authorised staff have appropriate system access.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for trustee directors.
  • Acting as a liaison point for ANZ Staff Super with the Administrator and Payroll, improving the integrity of member information data.
  • Managing member issues to optimise outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Preparing relevant member-related documents.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, internal policies, and assisting in risk management activities.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Solid understanding of banking, superannuation and/or payroll functions
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in response to problems that may arise
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  • To foster collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner
