About the Role
Enterprise Services Management delivers best in class service quality, enriched capability, agile and stable change, through service data, analytics and service automation.
As an Observability Engineer (APM), you will provide enterprise-wide tools and services to enable Enterprise Services and Development Teams, to effectively maintain and deliver high quality Technology Services.

What will your day look like?
- Support and maintain monitoring systems: Ensure that our technology landscape is effectively monitored and provide key insights for improvement.
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with various technology teams to drive improvements in monitoring utilization and strategy.
- Drive innovation: Contribute to innovative solutions that enhance our Platform Services CoE and the broader technology environment.
- Develop best-in-class monitoring systems: Help build and optimize leading-edge monitoring tools and capabilities.
- Lead or participate in sprints: Take part in sprints that deploy monitoring tools and services, providing real-time insights for teams.
- Consult on monitoring solutions: Provide expert guidance to projects in assessing, defining, and implementing cost-effective, fit-for-purpose monitoring solutions and toolsets.
What will you bring?
- Application Performance & Monitoring (APM) expertise: Strong knowledge and experience with APM tools, especially Dynatrace, would be a significant advantage.
- Dynatrace Certification: Preferred, but not mandatory.
- Infrastructure & development experience: Background in infrastructure, application development, and support, particularly in Java, .NET, or Python.
- Exposure to modern environments: Familiarity with containerized and microservice environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Platform experience: Solid experience with platforms like Windows, Solaris, Linux (RHEL), OpenShift, AWS, and GCP.
- DevOps & CI/CD tools: Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD technologies.
- Automation experience: Experience in automating deployment configurations for tools like Dynatrace or New Relic.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify issues and solve them with customer needs as a priority.
