About the Role

 

As a Non-Financial Risk Enablement Lead, you will play a critical role in coordinating and driving change across Group Risk to support the successful implementation and embedding of initiatives delivered through the PACT Program.

 

The role will report to Group Risk’s General Manager Non-Financial Risk and work closely with them to shape and deliver clear, consistent communication on program outcomes, changes and new ways of working, ensuring these are understood, adopted and embedded across the Risk Function.

 

The Non-Financial Risk Enablement Lead will also support Group Risk in executing required changes and in establishing robust evidence to demonstrate effective implementation and ongoing compliance with PACT Program requirements

What will your day look like?

 

As the Non-Financial Risk Enablement Lead, you will be responsible for enabling implementation and adoption of change, coordinating delivery and flow of work across Group Risk, supporting evidence, assurance and delivery confidence, influencing and senior stakeholder engagement. 

 

As a Non-Financial Risk Enablement Lead, you are accountable for: 

 

Enabling implementation and adoption of change

  • Translate PACT Program outcomes into clear, actionable expectations for Group Risk teams
  • Support leaders and delivery teams to embed new ways of working into day‑to‑day operations
  • Proactively identify and address risks or barriers to effective implementation and adoption

 

Coordinating delivery and flow of work across Group Risk

  • Support Risk Leaders to prioritise work, maintain momentum and ensure delivery remains on track
  • Work with Risk teams to assist with work sizing required to mobilise delivery

 

Supporting evidence, assurance and delivery confidence

  • Enable the capture and maintenance of fit‑for‑purpose evidence demonstrating completion and implementation of required changes
  • Support consistency, quality and defensibility of artefacts to meet assurance, audit and regulatory expectations
  • Provide visibility of progress, risks and dependencies to support stakeholder confidence in delivery outcomes

 

Influencing & Senior Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Group Risk leaders and senior stakeholders, positioning NFR Enablement as a credible and value‑adding partner
  • Influence prioritisation and delivery decisions through clear, evidence‑based insights, effective communication and constructive challenge
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments and competing interests to drive alignment, manage resistance, and maintain confidence in NFR enablement outcomes

 

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Services or other heavily regulated industry
  • Technical understanding of Risk and/or Compliance with the ability to also interpret Risk Frameworks/Policy and provide guidance on application
  • Expert at coordination, and forward planning across multiple workstreams to support alignment to an overall purpose.
  • Experienced at developing a roadmap and ability to prioritise and sequence work being done.
  • Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
  • Expert at identifying, monitoring and managing risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses.
