About the Role

As a Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Manager in our Enterprise Non-Financial Risk Framework & Governance Team, you’ll play a key role in continuing to transform ANZ’s NFR Framework (including policy, procedures, system, tooling, reporting, insights, guidance and support) to drive successful embedding of and improve maturity of Non-Financial Risk management across the enterprise.  

 

The Enterprise NFR Framework & Governance Team is responsible for:
• Setting the ANZ approach to Non-Financial Risk management (enterprise-wide Non-Financial Risk Framework and Governance).
• Drive continuous improvement in the enterprise Non-Financial Risk Framework (including standards, processes, guidance, tooling, data-informed insights, awareness & understanding).
• Provide effective oversight and governance activities of enterprise-wide Non-Financial Risk management to the Group Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), OREC and Board Risk Committee (BRC), including provide value-add insights and opinions on how well ANZ is effectively managing Non-Financial Risk within risk appetite.

What will your day look like?

This role will be responsible for: 
• Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key business unit stakeholders to drive proactive, consistent and co-ordinated approach to management of Non-Financial Risk.
• Developing and maintaining the NFR Framework and ensuring it remains fit for purpose.
• Establishing and facilitating NFR Framework related Working Group and Communities of Practice to identify and address pain points through collaboration with key stakeholders to co-design and deliver ongoing improvements.
• Responsible for developing enterprise Non-Financial Risk insights and opinion for the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Material Risk Owner (MRO).
• Responsible for ensuring that key internal and external stakeholders are aware and understand ANZ’s NFR Framework requirements.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

•    Extensive experience in Non-Financial Risk (Operational Risk & Compliance) Framework Management (or similar experience through Business Governance & Controls, Assurance, Well Managed roles)
•    Knowledge and ability to use Risk Systems (built on IBM Open Pages, Service Now) and other Risk Toolkits and Dashboards
•    Knowledge and ability to use process mapping tools like Signavio
•    [Internal only] Experience with current NFR Transformation Program 
•    Strong Data analytical skillset – i.e. ability to synthesize large volumes of data to provide insights 
•    Ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
•    Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with a values led culture.
•    Curious mindset with a willingness to learn.
•    Proven ability to influence and ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues/opinions in a professional manner
•    Confidence to own your opinions and challenge in a professional manner
•    Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills, with attention to detail
