About the role
As NFR Senior Manager resilience and operational risk , you’ll play a key role in the end-to-end delivery of Group Operations executive management of ANZ 2030 strategy, resilience of critical operations, BCP planning and regulatory engagement.
A strong focus on CPS230 critical operations control health and the oversight of customer outcomes / risk profiles and Group Executive insight. You will proactively intervene to ensure the work operations wide delivers to EU plan milestones (part of the APRA Court Enforceable Undertaking) creates effective alignment, integration and governance. The role is a senior leadership role and will help to build a team that can achieve the defined objectives and value.

What could your day look like?
As a Group Operations NFR HEAD OF GOVERNANCE AND ANALYTICS, you are accountable for:
- End to end management / delivery of Operational resilience, CPS230 critical operations and executive insight and analysis in partnership with the accountable Operations Executives, Business Leads
- Lead the data standards, dependency views of CPS230, current of Material service provider governance and defined OKRs leveraging significant influence into each operations division to ensure alignment
- Lead the delivery and coordination of end to end insightful views of Operations resilience control health, status of critical operations, risk actions, issues, interventions and timeliness response.
- Support the GM NFR to inform the Risk committee of progress, key risks, dependencies, change impacts, escalate issues
- Enhance NFR Management capabilities by actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that uplift skills and foster the sharing of knowledge and experience
- Establish and maintain effective and sustainable relationships with all key stakeholders to optimise delivery success
- Work with the change and communications specialists to ensure program outputs and outcomes are effectively communicated and considered to effectively optimise the pursuit of its intended benefits and add value
- Actively manage contracts / agreements in conjunction with procurement guidelines and policies.
What will you bring?
- Significant relevant experience working in a division or group level insightful and influential executive role, comprising or adjacent to non financial risk management within a Financial Services environment
- Experience working with NFR hub systems, frameworks and processes to achieve pragmatic and meaningful customer outcomes.
- Demonstrable senior management skills, with commensurate experience i.e. 10 years in leadership or program and project management within large / complex organisations
- Extensive understanding and experience in initiative delivery and governance principles, methods processes and techniques
- Delivery of outcomes to acceptable time, scope, budget & outcome expectations specifically including developing closure memos and supporting evidence requirements
- Strong results focus, with a continuous improvement skill set
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Clarifying stakeholder needs and managing expectations to ensure the delivery of effective service
- Identifying and obtaining support or advice required for the planning, coordination and execution of work
- Reporting through agreed reporting lines on progress
- Escalation of issues for resolution and decision making
- Contributing to the sharing of knowledge and information within own function and with business units
- Ensuring procedures and documentation are maintained
- Identifying means of working smarter and streamlining administration tasks.
