ANZ Plus is ANZ’s new digital banking service, changing the way we do banking. 

It comes with:

• The brand new ANZ Plus app
• An everyday ANZ Plus transaction account with a Visa Debit card
• A multi-goal ANZ Save savings account

Customers can join in minutes, without going into a branch, and get access to a suite of innovative money management features in the new ANZ Plus app. With over 250,000 customers and growing daily, we're looking to expand our risk partnering team. 

The Monitor Automate and Control (MAC) Value Stream identifies, monitors and supports development of controls to ensure that our ANZ Plus products, processes and services are compliant, fit for purpose and operating effectively within acceptable risk tolerances.  A lot of this has been achieved by developing bleeding edge automation and technology which enables fast releases and quicker changes. 

What will your day look like

Working in a fast-paced digital environment means our team keeps ANZ safe and protected with trusted and pragmatic risk services, that supports customer centric, commercial outcomes and helps navigate a complex regulatory environment
 

• Support your assigned Value Stream Lead, Digital Product Owners and your monitoring, automation and control colleagues in the identification, assessment and management of risks and issues.

• Bring creativity by challenging what’s possible whilst keeping the safety and financial wellbeing of our customers at our core.

• Develop a strong understanding of the teams needs and priorities to ensure risk and compliance is built into feature design.

• Embedding risk awareness and escalation and recording of risk information as needed.

• Risk & Controls Assessment – ensuring sound documentation of risk information across ANZ Plus for both delivery and introduced risk.

• Compliance Management - demonstrating compliance with obligations.

• Reporting – enhancing risk reporting and ensuring material decisions are captured.

• Automation - so you can spend more time having high value consultations with your stakeholders/. 

What will you bring?

For this role you don’t need a tech risk background however, a demonstrated interest in digital and technology is highly regarded. 

• Strong expertise in risk management, assurance or operational excellence. We'd also consider someone looking for a move from internal audit

• You work at pace and whilst you love a cohesive, highly engaged team, you can make decisions on your own. 

• Ability to adopt market trends and optimise the way we manage risk and assurance

• Strategic thinking coupled with strong execution and delivery focus

• You’re interested in using data and insights to help drive decision making

• Passionate and full of ideas on how the ANZ Plus can leverage technology to automate and embed assurance.

• Down to earth and self aware, you’re keen to work in a team where there are no egos, just great people doing amazing work
