Mental Health & Wellbeing Specialist
Mental Health & Wellbeing Specialist
About Us
At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.
About the Role
As a Mental Health & Wellbeing Advisor, you will support ANZ's approach to mental health, psychosocial risk management and employee wellbeing across a global workforce. Partnering with the Manager, Mental Health & Wellbeing and the broader team, you will provide subject matter expertise to leaders and stakeholders across the business, helping to create psychologically safe and healthy workplaces.
More specifically, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of wellbeing and mental health programs, tools and resources that support ANZ's Wellbeing and Safety strategy. You will provide specialist wellbeing advice, design and deliver targeted interventions and capability-building initiatives, and support the delivery of global wellbeing programs and events, which may include provider engagement, communications and event coordination.
A key component of the role involves the management of ANZ's third-party wellbeing providers, including the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) across Australia and Asia. This includes overseeing contract performance, monitoring compliance with service level agreements, and coordinating associated governance and reporting activities.
Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.
Role Type: Permanent
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands, Melbourne
Work Hours: Full Time (40 Hours / Weekly)
What will your day look like?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
· Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health & Safety, Human Factors or a related discipline will be required (essential).
· Experience working in large corporate environments supporting employee wellbeing and psychosocial risk management (preferred).
· Experience managing relationships/contracts with external providers (e.g. EAP and/or wellbeing providers).
· Commercial acumen, with the ability to understand business strategy, navigate complex and at times, ambiguous environments, and deliver practical solutions.
· A strong ability to work as part of a team and the broader Wellbeing & Safety function.
· Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
· A commitment to personal development and keeping up to date with changes in legislation and best practice.
You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills. At ANZ a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we’d love to hear from you.
What will you bring?
