Marketing plays a key role in articulating who we are as a brand, and why customers should choose and stay with ANZ. As the Marketing Manager – Payments you will support ANZ’s retail payment propositions and lead the delivery of customer marketing plans and go-to-market strategies.
You will leverage your marketing experience, insights, and data to develop, refine, and communicate marketing propositions and campaigns that resonate with customers and drive business growth.

Role Schedule: Full Time, 40hrs/week
What will your day look like?
As a Marketing Manager – Payments, you are accountable for:

Leading the marketing strategy and execution for PayTo and other retail payment propositions

The design and delivery of marketing programs which meet customer needs, business objectives, and are competitively positioned in market

Supporting proposition enhancements by leveraging a mix of customer insights, market research, and data performance, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.

Translating insights from agency reports and research data into tangible, actionable strategies that drive proposition and campaign development and refinement.

Working closely with the GTM team and agency partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns, messaging, and positioning across all channels and customer touchpoints.

Monitoring and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns, using insights to optimise strategies and enhance impact.

Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership, product teams, and external partners, ensuring alignment on proposition strategy and performance.

Presenting strategic marketing plans, market insights, and performance results, clearly communicating the impact on business outcomes.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
-
Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for products and services, with a strong understanding of the full marketing lifecycle.

Experience in developing value propositions that meet customer needs, are differentiated in the market, and aligned with business goals.

Expertise in gathering and interpreting market insights, customer data, market segmentation and research to inform strategic decisions and proposition refinement.

Experience working with agency partners to develop customer facing communications and campaigns and execute these across owned, earned and paid channels.

The ability to creatively problem solve and is unafraid to propose new ideas and experiment.

Proven ability to collaboratively influence cross-functional teams in the execution of go-to-market strategies, product launches, and proposition optimisation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies and recommendations research findings to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
