About the Role

The Manager, Reporting Solutions is responsible for leading the discovery and solution development of workforce reporting capabilities, ensuring alignment with business needs. This role focuses on understanding the "Why" behind reporting requests, identifying gaps, and developing new reporting solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams. It will also be central to responding to material ad-hoc reporting & analytics requests and managing a resource pool that responds to those needs as well ensuring an effective response to demand.

 

Operating at the intersection of business requirements and technical solutions, this role collaborates closely with T&C Product Owners, the Manager, Reporting Delivery, and the Manager, Workforce Data Management. It ensures reporting gaps are addressed through scalable solutions while managing flexible resourcing for Workforce Analytics projects, including ad-hoc and regulatory reporting.

 

This role requires strong stakeholder management and vendor oversight skills to drive continuous reporting capability enhancement.

Work Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week

What will your day look like?

Your key accountabilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Work with T&C Product Owners, as well as the Divisional Analytics team to identify personas and define reporting requirements.
  • Conduct current state assessments to identify reporting gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Develop problem statements and success criteria for reporting solutions.
  • Partner with the Data Management Lead to ensure scalable, high-impact reporting solutions.
  • Oversee and allocate resources effectively across Data Science, Management Insights, and Reporting Delivery teams.
  • Balance ad-hoc reporting needs with strategic priorities, from quarter to quarter
  • Optimize resource allocation for efficiency and effectiveness and work in partnership with the Manager Reporting Delivery and Manager WS&A Operations to efficiently run periodic prioritisation and backlog management of work
  • Ensure ANZ’s large scale workforce listening surveys (e.g. My Voice) are run efficiently and effectively, in partnership with the Data Science team and Culture & Talent Development function.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Reporting Delivery Lead to address reporting gaps.
  • Build strong relationships with T&C Product Owners and Reporting Delivery teams.
  • Oversee offshore and vendor partnerships with clear KPIs and SLAs.
  • Align business needs with offshore delivery capabilities.
  • Maintain data integrity and adherence to governance standards.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Expertise in Tableau, Qlik, SuccessFactors, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong dashboard development and data visualization skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
  • Experience managing reporting teams, vendor relationships, and offshore delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of self-service analytics, automation, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
