This is an exciting opportunity to join the Group Risk Information Delivery team, which sits in the wider Risk Metrics and Measurement (RMM) function. The team are responsible for BAU management/oversight of certain wholesale credit risk regulatory reporting returns (e.g. ARF 221 Large Exposures, HKMA Large Exposures and ARF 741/742 EFS reporting), uplifting controls and streamlining processes across a wider range of wholesale regulatory reporting activities and responding to ad hoc reporting requests from senior management.

 

The wider RMM function includes a broad range of teams such as Capital and Provisioning Analytics, Risk Projects, Credit Risk Modelling, Stress Testing and Forecasting, Data and Infrastructure and Risk Systems. The Manager for Group Risk Information Delivery will be responsible for the following:

  • BAU oversight of regulatory reporting deliverables for some wholesale lending returns
  • Utilising SQL/SAS to analyse regulatory reporting data and provide insights to stakeholders  
  • Enhancing/simplifying/improving control over regulatory reporting processes utilising automated techniques and systems to improve operational effectiveness and risk management practices, whilst maintaining compliance with prudential requirements
  • Assisting with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from senior management
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across risk, business and finance to ensure regulatory reporting is accurate and that APRA delegates are comfortable with the numbers they are signing off

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Degree in commerce, IT, or a related field

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential

  • Data analysis skills in SQL/SAS and excel are essential

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential

  • Able to work under tight schedules and consistently meet objectives 

  • Understanding of credit risk metrics or experience in regulatory reporting would be desirable

  • Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines into business requirements would be desirable
