About the Role
As the Manager of ESG Reporting, Process, and Content, you will play a crucial role in supporting ANZ's ESG and Modern Slavery reporting. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with both voluntary and mandatory reporting obligations, as well as effectively communicating our ESG performance and managing ESG risks and opportunities. This position requires an individual with exceptional organisational and editing skills, capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
You will be working in a dynamic environment where the bank's climate and broader ESG policies are under increasing scrutiny from social, governmental, investor, and customer perspectives. Additionally, you will navigate the introduction of mandatory climate disclosures in Australia. What will your day look like?

Support day to day project management of stakeholder inputs and reviews of ESG and Modern Slavery reporting, to meet voluntary and mandatory reporting standards and stakeholder expectations (with a focus on Social and Governance pillars).

Support provision of guidance on ESG/Modern Slavery reporting inputs from ANZ functions and business units including Suncorp Bank and New Zealand.

Support development and drafting of disclosures ensuring consistency within the document and inputs into materials for Finance, Investor Relations and Corporate Governance teams, including the design and publication.

Coordination and collation of assurance evidence and liaising with external assurance team.

Support uplift of ESG reporting governance controls.

Conduct regular and on-going peer benchmarking of ESG reporting, and support ESG disclosure enquiries as required.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Experience contributing to ESG/Modern Slavery reporting for an ASX-listed organisation.

Strong relationship and networking skills to engage and coordinate internal stakeholder inputs.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Some additional ‘nice to have’ skills for this role include:

Sound understanding of ESG reporting regulations and compliance requirements in different regions.

Strong analytical, writing and communications skills, including the ability to understand and simplify complex matters.

Ability to prioritise tasks and to work under pressure within various constraints

Enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer centric and collaborative team environment.

Legal, financial, risk or regulatory reporting experience.
