Learning Facilitator
Learning Facilitator
About Us
At ANZ, we're applying new ways technology and data can be harnessed as we work towards a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.
About the Role
The ANZ Academy is an enterprise‑wide learning program with a vision to deliver impactful and consistent capability development offerings at scale. Our programs are designed to build knowledge, skills and confidence aligned to ANZ’s critical capability priorities. The ANZ Academy delivers a broad suite of learning experiences across key focus areas, including professional skills, data and digital fundamentals, banking fundamentals, and leadership capability through LEAD@ANZ.
The Facilitator and Learning Designer role is responsible for both the high‑quality delivery and ongoing co‑creation of ANZ Academy learning experiences. This role blends deep facilitation expertise with applied learning design capability to ensure programs are engaging, relevant, and effective for a wide range of audiences.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled facilitator who is also confident contributing to learning design, iteration and continuous improvement. You bring authenticity, presence and adaptability to the room, while also applying sound adult learning principles behind the scenes to shape impactful learning solutions.
You will deliver ANZ Academy programs across a range of modalities, including Teams Live webinars, virtual classrooms and in‑person experiences. You will be comfortable facilitating independently or co‑facilitating with peers and stakeholders. Your audiences will vary from graduates to senior leaders, requiring strong judgement and flexibility in your approach.
Workshops are highly interactive and discussion‑based, with facilitators expected to draw on their own leadership experience, insight and reflection to enrich learning. You will role‑model the ANZ Academy facilitation approach and contribute to a strong culture of learning excellence across the organisation.
In addition to delivery, you will be required to support learning needs analysis, learning design, program iteration, and evaluation. You will contribute to Train‑the‑Trainer programs, facilitator capability uplift, and communities of practice across ANZ.
This role requires an ‘always learning’ mindset, openness to feedback, and the ability to continuously refine both facilitation and design practice to meet evolving learner and business needs.
