About the Role
As a Lead within our Technology, Data, Operational Risk & Resilience Centre of Excellence (CoE), you’ll act as a trusted first line risk partner, helping to strengthen risk management across Talent & Culture. Working across technology, data, operational risk and resilience, you'll partner with stakeholders to identify risks, support control uplift, assist with regulatory change and deliver meaningful risk insights that inform decision-making.
This is a great opportunity for a risk professional who enjoys solving complex problems, building strong stakeholder relationships and driving continuous improvement. You'll play an important role in strengthening risk capability, embedding effective risk management practices and helping the business navigate an evolving risk and regulatory environment.

What could your day look like?
- You will work in a team of 4 and Report to the Manager Data, Technology, Operational Risk & Resilience Centre of Excellence, partnering closely with stakeholders across Talent & Culture
- You will support and coordinate risk assessments, helping the business to identify and manage their risks, strengthen controls and support uplifting risk management practices
- You will prepare risk insights, analysis and reporting that support governance discussions, decision-making and regulatory compliance
- You will use data and risk insights to identify emerging themes, support remediation activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- You will help build risk capability across the business through guidance, coaching and education
- You will contribute to a strong risk culture by partnering with stakeholders to embed effective risk management into everyday decision-making.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience in Technology, Data, Operational Risk, Resilience, Information Security or related risk disciplines within a complex environment.
- Strong risk management, analytical and problem-solving capability, assessing risks and control effectiveness, identifying themes, gaps and root causes, providing actionable insights and applying sound judgement and a pragmatic, risk-based approach to decision-making.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships across business, risk and support teams, influence stakeholders and support delivery of risk outcomes, navigate competing priorities in a changing environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uplift activities.
- Understanding of risk frameworks, governance and regulatory obligations, including experience supporting risk assessments, control reviews or regulatory change activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate complex risk, regulatory and technical concepts into practical business outcomes, deliver clear, concise written and verbal communications, prepare quality materials for governance forums and stakeholders and support the uplift of risk capability across the business.
