About the Role

This role is a part of the Customer Protection Strategy & Performance team working together with stakeholders across the business to protect our customers against fraud and scams using CyberCrime techniques. The CyberCrime Senior Analyst plays a role in protecting our customers phishing and malware attacks through deep root cause analysis of existing fraud / scam event. The CyberCrime Senior Analyst is responsible for raising awareness within the Customer Protection and the wider ANZ teams through knowledge sharing sessions.  This role also requires management of relationships with vendors relating to our Cybercrime detection tools (BioCatch / IBM Trusteer).

What will your day look like?

This role is accountable for:

 

  • Automating and optimizing CyberCrime analysis processes.
  • Assisting in Fraud and compromised customer credential detection using behaviour bio-Fraud detection platforms.
  • CyberCrime Intelligence (phishing & malware) gathering, analysing, and actioning.
  • Develop processes and procedures for big data correlation and analysis  

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

The ‘must have’ knowledge, skill, and experience (KSE) the role requires are:

  • Must have technical investigation and root cause analysis experiences with digital fraud and cybercrime targeting bank customers.
  • Demonstrated experiences with behaviour biometric Fraud detection.
  • Must have solid understanding and working experience with banking malware, phishing techniques.
  • Solid knowledge in IT and IT security.
  • Experience with SIEM tools,

 

The ‘good to have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support quick decision making
  • Industry certificates such as GREM, CISSP
  • Web application security is an advantage

 

Qualifications: List key qualifications that are relevant to this role.

  • 3+ years of experience in data related roles, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics related roles
