About the Role

As an Integration Assurance Team Lead in our Australia Retail Division, you’ll play a key role in leading risk identification and assessment of end-to-end risks across the Australia Retail Division. Working alongside partners and stakeholders in the Program Value Streams, Group Technology, and the Retail Division, you will connect the dots and enable senior leaders to clearly understand the introduced risk to their area of responsibility. To be successful in this role, you need to have demonstrable experience in risk management, assurance activities, and project delivery.

What will your day look like?

As an Integration Assurance Team Lead, you will:

  • Work closely with Australia Retail leadership, Initiative Leads, Product Owners, Journey Experts and assurance colleagues in the identification, assessment and management of risks and issues
  • Embedding risk awareness and escalation and recording of risk information as needed
  • Risk & Controls Assessment – ensuring sound documentation of risk information across the portfolio for introduced risks
  • Coordinating and managing end-to-end risk workshops, to produce risk assessments
  • Use your strong communication and presentation skills to connect with stakeholders across impacted business segments
  • Supporting the teams with compliance obligations management
  • Enhancing risk reporting and ensuring material decisions are captured
  • Bring creativity by challenging what’s possible whilst keeping the safety and financial wellbeing of our customers at our core
  • Develop a strong understanding of the teams’ needs and priorities to ensure risk and compliance is built into feature design

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Risk Management & Technical Expertise:

  • Deep expertise in ANZs Non-Financial Risk Management Policy and Frameworks.
  • Proven experience in the application of risk management, assurance or operational excellence, ideally supporting projects or risk in change.
  • Technology domain specific experience including Cloud, cyber security, technology processes and big data.
  • Deep understanding of ANZ Data Ownership and Governance model

  • The ability to:
    • identify, understand and anticipate the needs of those who can affect or be affected by the program
    • gain the commitment of others through a range of techniques
    • build and nurture relationships, both internally and externally to your area of influence


Analytical Mindset:

  • The ability to use logic and reasoning to analyse, evaluate and synthesize a range of information to understand an opportunity or challenge
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to identify articulate and communicate risk findings
  • Must be able to work successfully in a complex, sometimes ambiguous environment as part of a small team.


Leadership

  • Able to manage your own work priorities whilst supporting and uplifting the team
  • Be a key leader within the team directing and continuously improving ways of working
  • Ongoing administration of one direct report
